MEET KRISTIN

New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
20210827 Kristen SBOD-6.jpg

From a young age, Kristin Cobb had a strong sense of service and a love for the community. This passion led her to pursue a degree in Paramedic Technology. She served her community as an emergency responder until deciding to stay home with her two daughters. When the girls began school at Greenwood Forest Elementary, Kristin focused on a career that would ultimately lead to opening a business with her husband. Today, that business has grown into an award-winning organization that brings substantial jobs and revenue directly into the Klein District. Kristin continues her passion for emergency response to this day as a volunteer with Texas Search and Rescue.

Kristin focuses on continual learning, growth and personal improvement earning an Organizational Leadership degree with a focus on emergency management from the University of Houston. She graduated with a 4.0 earning the Dean’s Medal of Excellence and had the honor of being elected to serve as the Banner Bearer for the UH College of Technology. She went on to earn her master’s in law at Liberty University, graduating with highest honors.

Kristin is a mother of two Klein ISD High School students and a Klein High alumnus. Her husband is a graduate of Klein Forest High School. They are a true Klein family! They are members of the Church of Christ and are actively involved. Kristin holds a Biblical Worldview and enjoys volunteering and mentoring the children in her church community. She also participates in Pinnacle Forum for Christian women in business. Outside of her family and church service, she volunteers in the political arena and believes politics has no place in the classroom.

These experiences have uniquely equipped Kristin to understand the legislative landscape, current educational landscape, emergency guidelines, disaster mitigation and organizational finance that are currently impacting our district. She is well versed in human resources, including employment dispute resolutions, hiring, and drafting workplace policies. Her unique talents will only serve to enhance the Klein ISD School Board. She strives for excellence and is passionate about helping our children receive the best education possible. Her goal is support and advocate for parents, students, teachers, administration and community members across the district.
